The Model 5500 Batch Pasteurization System consists of one 5.5 kW High Frequency (RF) Generator and Applicator, designed for use in the heating of a variety of materials. The materials are presented to the RCF system in a "Batch" process, meaning manual loading and unloading of materials in discrete "batches" for RCF processing.
 
The RCF Generator is controlled by an Automation Direct programmable logic controller ("PLC") rack system using 24VDC control circuitry, and running Auto Direct "Productivity Suite" programming software. System control and diagnostics and provided via an Automation Direct "C-More" HMI Touch-screen display.
 
The RFC Applicator consists of a flat plate electrode array, featuring electro-mechanical frequency-based control as well as solid-state voltage-based control to deliver an exceptionally precise application of RF heating energy.
 
Fiber Optic temperature sensors are included which can be used to measure product temperatures during processing. The "feedback" data collected from these sensors is used to provide "real-time" control of the RF heating process.
 
Data collection is available by USB via "CSV" files
